By accessing and using Handaz services and applications you confirm that you are in agreement with and bound by the terms and conditions contained in the Terms Of Use outlined below. These terms apply to the entire website usage. This service is operating according to (Egypt) law. We may choose to correct or amend these Terms of Use at any time. If changes occur, we will clearly indicate such alterations at the top of this page with the date of modification.

This service offers functionality to convert and modify files of different file formats. This service is provided via web interface. You agree to comply with the policies and limitations concerning use of Handaz services, including, without limitation, the maximum consumed time ("conversion units") of conversions done through the service, the maximum number of files that a user may upload through the application, the maximum size of the files that a user may convert through the service. You agree not to bypass these policies by any means (e.g. creating multiple accounts).

Subscriptions add a monthly units to your account. Unused units will expire by the end of the billing period. You can cancel your subscription anytime on Handaz website, which will take effect at the end of the billing period. All payments are non-refundable. The subscription will be activated on your account as soon as we receive your payment and will be renewed 1 month after your payment.

We will use commercially reasonable efforts to make the service each available with a monthly uptime percentage of at least 99%. The monthly uptime percentage is calculated by subtracting from 100% the percentage of units during the month in which the service is not available. In the event Handaz does not meet this availability, you will be eligible to receive refund as described below.

In the event of non-compliance, you get 1% of the total amount of the last invoice, per 10 units of unavailability, limited to 100% of the total invoice amount. To receive the refund, you must submit a claim, which contains at least the following information:

  • The dates and times of each unavailability incident that you are claiming.
  • Your request logs that document the errors and corroborate your claimed outage.

You are ineligible to receive refund if the outage:

  • results from any announced maintenance (Maintenance periods are announced on Handaz home page).
  • is caused by corrupt or not compatible requests or files provided by you.
  • is caused by unsupported input files. The support of specific files can be checked using the free version of Handaz.
  • is caused by factors outside of our reasonable control, including any force majeure event or internet access or related problems beyond the demarcation point of Handaz.

While we do our best to ensure that the service is error free, we cannot guarantee that your files will not be damaged, deleted or lost. You acknowledge that you have a copy of all files and Handaz will not be responsible for any failure caused by files, sent to Handaz.

Privacy is important to us! Handz is maintained by (Egypt) law. If you do not agree to our Privacy Policy and the other terms stated below, please do not use our services and let us know about your concerns. We reserve the right to change our Privacy Policy and other terms stated below at any time.

By visiting our website and/or using our application, your IP address will be logged along with the dates and times of access. If you decide to create a Handaz account, we collect your Email address and your chosen username as well. Also, if you use our contact form we collect your Email address and your name. At this point it is emphasized that we do not read or collect content, metadata or other data from your uploaded files. By buying a subscription, we need to additionally collect your full name, physical address, company name and id. We do not collect your credit card data nor have access to it. This is handled by our payment providers Stripe (for credit card payments) and PayPal. Before providing any personal data to PayPal or Stripe, please make sure that you have read their privacy policies.

We do log your IP address to prevent abuse of our service and for broad demographic analysis. We do not link this information to any personally identifiable information. If you provide an Email address we use it to communicate with you. If you buy a subscription for our services your name, your company’s name and your address are used to create the invoice. Your VAT id may be used to check if you qualify to exempt from paying VAT.

Your data can be modified in the account page. Also, you can delete your account there. This will delete your account and all associated data permanently. Alternatively, you can contact us and we will do it for you.

We are committed to protect your personal data and your files. All transfers from and to Handaz are SSL encrypted. All Handaz servers are located in the European Union, are protected and cannot be accessed by third parties. To explain our security measurements in detail would be too extensive for this page; if you want to get more details about our security concept please feel free to contact us.

Handaz offers a number of ways to share, or not share, your Handaz project with others. Handaz Public (free) Accounts: If you have a Handaz Public (free) account, all of the content you create, including all of the information within your presentations, and your username will be available to anyone who has access to the internet (“Public User Content”). Public Handaz projects can be viewed by other Handaz users, will appear in the searchable Handaz database, and will be available for others to access and view online. Accordingly, you hereby do and shall grant to each User and to the public a worldwide, non-exclusive, revocable license to access, view and publicly perform your Public User Content. This license ends when you delete your account or it is closed (either by you or by us), except to the extent that the content has been shared with others and they have not deleted it. Paid Handaz Accounts: If you are making use of the Service to display or edit Private User Content for profit, you are required to have a paid Handaz account. If you have a paid Handaz account, your username may be shared by Handaz with others who we think might be interested in you, but you can choose to make your content Public User Content, or Private User Content. Handaz projects designated as Private User Content, will not be available to the public. Rather, they will be available to you, and to those Handaz users with whom you have chosen to share the content. You may invite one or more people (a “Viewer”) to view your Handaz project by sending them a “share” link. You hereby do and shall grant to each Invited Viewer a license to access, view and publicly perform your Private User Content. This license ends when you delete the Handaz projector your account is closed (either by you or by us), except to the extent that the content has been shared with others and they have not deleted it.

You are the only responsible for the data (e.g. files, URLs) which it sends to the Handaz service. Handaz does not monitor customer content. One is reminded that the illicit exchanges of recordings and protected works as well as the hacking harm artistic creation. One is reminded that also non the respect of the laws in force, in particular those concerning the respect of the intellectual and artistic property, can give place to continuations and judgments.
